For example you can take part in a real fairy-tale at Fyrtøjet ("The Tinder Box") - a children's cultural centre, situated right next to Hans Christian Andersen's House. You can listen to a fairy-tale, dress up, write your own fairy story, paint or draw, or even compose some music. In the garden at Hans Christian Andersen's House, and in the Fyn Village, there are plays on subjects taken from the fairy stories of Hans Christian Andersen; many of the actors are themselves children. You can get so close to things that you can smell them at the Museum of Seafaring and Denmark's Railway Museum. Experience what it is like to be way out to sea in the middle of the night, under sail, while buffeted by a powerful storm, or drive a train right across Fyn.
