There are many protected areas of countryside on Fyn, with abundant flora and fauna.
Visitors are welcome to explore them, and the County of Fyn has produced small folders which describe the history and the flora and fauna to be found in the areas. There are also detailed maps, showing trails and directions, as not all these areas are easy to find.
