The Most Beautiful Cycling Route in Denmark
The Baltic Route is a cross-regional cycling route that passes through some of the most beautiful countryside in Denmark, whether the fjords or the Little Belt, the South Fyn Archipelago, the open countryside on Lolland-Falster or the impressive Møns Klint.
The Baltic Route is approximately 800 km long, and principally follows existing national, regional and local signed routes. It crosses south-east Jutland, Fyn Ærø, Langeland, Lolland, Falster, Møn and southern Zealand, and is designed so that cyclists can either follow the entire route or smaller sections of it. On Fyn and Langeland, there is a baggage transport service which can be used for this route.

There is a handy guidebook for the route, which fits a standard cycle bag. It contains 116 pages, including 36 detailed maps on the scale 1:100,000, as well as inspiring route descriptions which mention interesting attractions and excursions, as well as a detailed list of places to stay from campsites to luxury hotels. Bicycle Ferry
New: The bicycle ferry between Lundeborg (Fyn) - Lohals (North Langeland) - Omø - West Zealand is sailing again. The ferry is an excellent alternative to your bicycle holiday, which allows you to shorten the eastern part of the Baltic Route.
