• Round Fyn for Veteran Wooden Ships

This race is the biggest summer event on Fyn.
Most of the big sailing vessels in Denmark will meet up for friendly competition on the water and festive comradeship in the harbours.

Another reason for this popularity is that the stretches around Fyn are easily manageable in a weekend, and the sailors pass through lovely coastal waters such as those of the Little Belt and Svendborg Sound. News of the great regattas has spread to Germany, bringing an increasing number of participants. Yachting traditions survive, and Fyn has the oldest regatta in Denmark.

• Classic Fyn rundt

This sea race around Fyn was started in 1936, and is the oldest in Denmark. It starts and finishes in Kerteminde, and is held in June. Catamarans and keelboats participate.

This yacht race starts in Bogense. It is organised in partnership with the Royal Danish Yachting Club. The starting gun goes off in the month of May. Catamarans and keelboats take part.

• Svendborg Classic regatta

For classic yachts. Starts on Svendborg Sound. To qualify as classics, the yachts must have been built before 1968. The race takes place in the month of August.
