From 4 July through 30 August 2009, you can take your bicycle with you on the ferry from Lohals on Langeland to Korsør on Zealand.

The ferry sails on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with the following departure times:
Departure from Korsør, 10.00 – arrival at Lohals, 12.30
Departure from Lohals, 13.00 – arrival at Korsør, 15.30

Cycles across the Great Belt Bridge
Cyclists who wish to cross the Great Belt Bridge should use the train from Nyborg to Kørsør.

Please note that it is necessary to book a place in advance. Just call DSB (Danish State Railways) on +45 70 13 14 15 for more information.

The trains cross the Great Belt every half hour.

Cycle over the Little Belt
You can travel from Fredericia to Middelfart with your own steam. Simply take the old Little Belt Bridge, which is part of national cycling route 6.

General information about travelling with a bicycle
You can take your cycle on most trains in Denmark, except those designated InterCityLyn (Inter City Express) and EuroCity.

Some only carry bicycles at certain times of the year, some require advance booking, and some have special regulations.

The best thing to do is to enquire at a railway station, where the staff speak English to an "international" standard.
