In the afternoon there is a visit to the beautiful exhibition gallery of Else and Jørgen Hinke. Both artists have for many years made incredible beautiful paintings with pastel crayon and water colour. When you return to Fåborg, you will drive through Svanninge Bjerge which has very pleasant scenery.
In the evening you will visit Falsted Kro, which is one the best restaurants in Denmark. The restaurant is also known outside Denmark for its fantastic gourmet dining. The focus is put on French gourmet food made of the raw articles from the local area.
Falsled Kro dates back to around the year 1500. Falsted Kro was an illicit bar until 1750 where it was appointed royal privilege with a license to be an inn, brew bear and distil spirits.
The inn has been gently restored over time and appears as authentic today as in the old days.
