When you have disembarked the ship in Kalundborg/ Copenhagen/ Århus a bus will take you to Odense, where there will be an opportunity to experience a village from the Iron-Age.

The village is built according to findings from archaeological excavations at Fyn and Jutland and it is set in a reconstructed ancient environment, which is placed in beautiful natural environment in a river valley.

The Iron-Age is an historical age, which covers 500 B.C. to 750 A.D.  The village gives an adequate insight on how a village was constructed and how people lived their everyday life.

You will get the opportunity to experience and participate in different activities, which were a part of everyday life at that time.

During the tour you will enjoy a meal and a beverage in one of the reconstructed houses. The food will be similar to the food serves at the time of the Iron-Age.

During the tour a guide will tell you about the Iron-Age, the people and life in that era.

After some wonderful and inspiring hours you will return to Kalundborg/ Copenhagen/ Århus where you embark on your ship.
