Faaborg Art Museum/Faaborg Kunstmuseum - Anna SybergFaaborg - Tour Suggestions
Here are a few examples of our most popular excursions
Through the old streets of Faaborg
Tour 1:
Walk the old streets of Faaborg, enjoy a snack or a coffee in the cafés, visit the many small museums, make it to the top of the church tower and admire the grand view of the old town and the South Fyn Archipelago
– don’t forget the camera!

Island Hopping
Tour 2:
Take one of three small ferries to some of the many smaller islands with anything from 30 to “several hundred” inhabitants.
No matter where you come from in the world, we guarantee you an experience out of the ordinary!

Sail on an old schooner
Tour 3:
We can also arrange for one of the old schooners to take you on a daytrip in the archipelago.
You can help the captain to navigate between the islands or you can help the crew to set sails – or you could choose just to relax and enjoy the trip!

Exploring the countryside
Tour 4:
If you decide to stay on land for a while, you could rent a bike or a car and explore the countryside.
The Funen Alps (the highest point is 126 meter) are only 3 km from the town centre and “up” there you will also find one of the best (and certainly the most beautiful) Golf Courses in Denmark.

Touring Fyn
Tour 5:
The Bus Station is only 150 meter from the Cruise Ship Landing.
From there you can take a bus to “anywhere”.
The bus ride to Hans Christian Andersen’s House in Odense takes 1 hour each way.

Steam Train Ride
Tour 6:
Next to the bus station is the railway station.
Mind you, it is not a real railway station. It is merely a railway “stop” and the trail is a vintage train with a steam engine.
Never the less, it will take you through the countryside all the way to Korinth!
