Visit the Funen farmer's markets and festivals

On Funen we love both festivities and good food. And when you combine these, it results in "food festivals". On Funen from May through October, you will always be able to find a festival or an event involving food and Funen specialties. So come and get a taste of Funen. It is a wonderful experience.

Funen harvest festivals – all year

Every year, the cities of Funen have a number of festivals with food as their main theme. And what could be cosier than gathering around some of the fresh, tasty, locally produced delicacies – whether they are composed of vegetables, cheese, fruit, beer, or chocolate?

Market days and markets

Fresh, locally produced food products are sold all over Funen. You will find both outdoor market days as well as indoor food markets in the various towns of Funen, and you may also find international inspiration.In Odense a special supermarket, Supergastro, which primarily sells local Funen food products and delicacies, has opened. Funen specialties

Wine, beer, chocolate, ice cream and cheese. Funen is a land of plenty when it comes to small and delicious culinary experiences – and rightly so. Famous producers like Løgismose, Summerbird, and Skarø ice cream are specialty producers known by most. There is such an abundance of products that can only be found in a few other places throughout the Danish countryside.

The producers – Who stands behind them?

The producers of Funen work closely together no matter the product type. "The Taste of Funen" is the name of the cooperative between 80 large and small food producers, brewers, farm shops, cooks and restaurant owners, who join forces to bring the very best food products from the soil of Funen to the tables of all consumers.
