City walk with the Mayor
11/5: A walk with historical stories in and around Rudkøbing.
On the occasion of Geopark Days 2025, you are invited on a city walk in Rudkøbing - a cosy and history-filled walk through the streets of the town.
The tour starts at Præstegården (Østergade 2) at 14.00 and takes you through some of Rudkøbing's beautiful and historic areas. Along the way, Mayor Tonni Hansen, will talk about the city's development, cultural environments and the institutions and buildings that have characterised Rudkøbings history.
The city walk ends at Bays Gård and the Geopark Visitor Centre, where you have the opportunity to explore the Geopark's story and learn more about the entire South Funen Archipelago.
The route is approximately 2 km long. The pace is slow with several stops along the way.
There is room for a maximum of 50 participants on the tour.

Geopark Days in Geopark Det Sydfynske Øhav
The event is part of Geopark Days, where you can experience outdoor activities, local food and new knowledge about the local natural, cultural and geological history of the UNESCO Global Geopark South Funen Archipelago.
