Would you like a post-school year where you become part of a musical community and grow both as a musician and as a person? So come and visit us for Afterschool Day and find out if the Music Afterschool in Humble is for you!
We are holding an open house on Sunday 29 September at 12-18. Every hour (12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17) we hold a mini-concert with the Musikefterskolen's choir and line team, after which headmaster Jonas Hald will talk about what you can expect from an after-school stay at the Musikefterskolen. Afterwards, there is an opportunity to go on a tour, where our students show off all the school's facilities and talk about the school; what we do and what everyday life at the Musikefterskolen is like. After the tour, it is possible to have a conversation with one of the school's teachers, who will answer your questions and can tell you more about the school's values, academic and pedagogical practices, etc.
Our organic kitchen serves delicious, organic dishes from 12.00 – 14.00. For the rest of the day we offer refreshments such as fruit, coffee and cake. In the dining hall, it will also be possible to have a chat with our teachers, who are ready to answer all your questions and talk to you about everyday life at the school, book lessons, music lessons, solo lessons, immersion subjects, electives, concerts, music festivals, study trips and everything else we do during a school year.
Book a tour and interview in advance
You can book an admission interview with a teacher in advance if you think that the Postgraduate School of Music could be something for you. The interview is not binding, but it is a prerequisite for being accepted as a student at the School of Music - so take the chance when you are visiting anyway. If you just have a few questions, it is not necessary to book an interview in advance, but if you already know that you would like to speak to a teacher, we recommend that you book an appointment - this way you avoid waiting time. You book your time for the tour and interview via Billetto (press "Find tickets" at the top of the page).
