Discover the landscape and history of Tranekær - ‘On the hill’ in Medicinhaverne
Join us on a different and entertaining guided tour of Tranekær during Geopark Days 2025. ‘Hats on the Hill’ is a 1½-hour experience that takes you through Tranekær's unique natural and cultural history.
The tour starts with the enormous forces of the Ice Age that shaped the hilly landscape around Tranekær. Along the way, you'll hear exciting stories about Tranekær Castle, the town, the gardens and the people who have left their mark on the area.

- Guide: Jørn Kristiansen, chairman of Medicinhaverne i Tranekær, gives a lively and humorous talk about how ice, climate and man have interacted to create this little gem on Langeland.
