Guided walk to the 37-metre-high Guldborg Bank

Join a guided tour of Guldborg Banke during Geopark Days and learn about archaeological finds and the dramatic battles that shaped the site.

In connection with Geopark Days 2025, the Tourist and Business Association invites you on an exciting trip to Guldborg Banke on Saturday, 31 May at 10:00 a.m. Jørgen Skaarup, head of the archaeological excavation, will talk about the finds from 1993-1995 and the violent battle that archaeologists found traces of.

Guldborg Banke is a 37-metre-high hill that was a medieval fortification. The tour is approximately 1 km long and goes through very hilly terrain. Please note that both the tour and parking are on private property.

  • Payment: No advance registration. Payment is made on site – preferably via MobilePay, otherwise in cash.
