Møllernes dag

16 June 2024 is the Danish ‘Mills Day’, when mills across the country open to the public

The 15 mills, 15 'Bøller' and 15 parishes of Langeland

The mills in Langeland Municipality have always played an important role in the community. Today, they are no longer in traditional operation, but are beautiful landmarks of how society has previously been dependent on agriculture.

Several of the Langeland mills have been newly restored (Bagenbjerg), are on their way to exciting utilisation (Lindelse) or are run by voluntary associations (Rudkøbing Bymølle and Tranekær Slotsmølle). Put an X in your calendar for 16 June!
