Mørkemusen - Children's workshop at Langeland Library

In Danish only: Meet Tea and the little Dark Mouse at a drawing workshop for young children (and anyone else who is curious!) at Langeland Library

Dark Mouse's safe travel book

Dark Mouse does NOT want to travel. In fact, he doesn't even want to leave the nest and see what's in the garden. But with scissors and paper, we've made a little safety book to give him the courage to go out and have a look around. The book is passport-sized and is a passport to the world of Dark Mouse. When you open it, you'll find everything that makes a little mouse feel safe and happy. And maybe it's something you can use yourself when you go out and experience the world.

‘The purpose of the workshop is for the children to learn to draw and create in a vibrant and non-perfectionist way and experience that mistakes are a path to a good illustration, and that you can make a book and create a three-dimensional universe out of the world of the Dark Mouse.’

TEA BENDIX is a picture book artist - author, illustrator, book organiser and performer - and has been working with children's books and everything around it since 1998: Children's literature, children's radio, children's theatre, communication, concerts, exhibitions, communication and lectures.

If you missed her fine children's workshop at Strynø's summer festival ‘Literature for young and old’, or if you'd like a reunion, you now have the chance at Langeland Library on 26 October at 11.00.
