Bring the family to Geopark Days at Skovsgaard - full of wild safaris, flavour experiences and fun nature education.

During Geopark Days, Skovsgaard Nature Centre is packed with exciting activities - perfect for curious children and adults who want to get close to nature.

Here the whole family can explore the wildlife, forage in nature's larder and learn about biodiversity through play, taste and sensory experiences. Skovsgaard offers everything from safari tours and small animal hunting to outdoor cooking and stories about life in the meadow, the forest and the poo.

29 May at 11.00 - Wild safari to the forest

The forests of Skovsgaard are full of life, both when you look up and when you look down. In the air, you may be lucky enough to spot a white-tailed eagle and wood pigeons. On the ground, species like badgers, leopard slugs and foxes live. You may also come across the death fly, which feeds on dead mammals.

29 May at 13:00 - Wild safari to the meadow

The meadow is full of life. Here you can find kestrels, toads, coots, coots - and exciting plants such as blood spot and little bell.

30 May, 13:00-16:00 - WILD FOOD

Forage, taste and prepare nature's wild herbs over a campfire in Skovsgaards outdoor kitchen. A delicious and educational experience for the whole family.

31 May at 11:00 - Wild safari to Lorten

Follow the circle of life up close. Learn about dung beetles and their important role in nature - and meet the red dung beetle in action.

31 May at 13:00 - The tickle and the crawl

Join the hunt for 99 wild species and find the most beautiful, funniest and fastest insects. Compete against each other and learn more about the critters in the landscape.
