TENGGER on Musikefterskolen

11/9 Musikefterskolen organizes a concert with the TENGGER

Korean-Japanese duo TENGGER plays at the Musikefterskolen.

The music secondary school in Humble is proud to present the Korean-Japanese duo TENGGER, who will play a concert at the school on September 11, 2024.

TENGGER is a fascinating musical family, consisting of the pan-Asian pair itta and Marqido, who create their very own kind of psychedelic New-Age drone music. With a mix of vocals, harmonium, toy instruments (played by Itta) and analog synthesizers (played by Marqido), they invite the listener into a world of seductive, magical soundscapes. Originally, the duo began under the name "10", but after the birth of their son RAAI in 2012, who often accompanies them on tour and performs on stage, they changed their name to TENGGER. Meaning "endless sky" in Mongolian and "great sea" in Hungarian, the name marks the family's expansion — both personally, musically and spiritually.

Traveling as a spiritual experience in material surroundings, as well as the space between musician and audience, are central themes in TENGGER's artistic work. Their annual pilgrimages inspire every detail of their music and art, making their concerts a profound and sensual experience. Don't miss the chance to experience TENGGER live, where you will be taken on a sound journey that extends beyond the boundaries of both time and space.

The concert is open to outside guests. Tickets can be purchased in advance via Billetto or cash at the door.

The ticket price is DKK 100 (free with annual pass).
