Ultraløbet Ærø Route 66
Test yourself in Ultraløbet Ærø Route 66 (running event), which takes you around Ærø's most beautiful stretches. The terrain is hilly and the hills are steep; perfect for those who want to challenge themselves and their running form.
Ultraløbet Ærø Route 66 (running event) was held for the first time in 2018. The race begins in Marstal at Ærøhallen (sports hall) and follows Kyststien on the south side of Ærø to Søby near Vitsø. Here, the route connects to Øhavsstien, which takes participants back to Marstal via Ærøskøbing and along Ærø's north side.
The route offers a variety of surfaces, including tarmac, beach, trail tracks, hills and straight stretches. On some stretches of Øhavsstien, participants must cross fences. As it is a public path, steps are set up on poles for easy crossing.
