Meet Merete
Merete works with project management and collaboration on outdoor initiatives, helping stakeholders make nature more accessible to visitors. She has extensive experience leading outdoor projects that enable both guests and local actors to fully enjoy the natural experiences Fyn has to offer. Currently, she is the project lead on Outdoorturisme på Fyn og Øerne, Naturforbindelser på Fyn and Regenerativ turisme på verdenskortet. Personally, she loves lacing up her hiking boots or pumping her bike tires and heading out on adventures in the nature of Fyn.

How Merete Contributes
Merete brings deep expertise in creating welcoming environments for guests who wish to explore nature—whether on foot or by bike. She helps develop facilities that balance visitor needs with environmental considerations. She also has strong insight into how service and informational materials can enhance the visitor experience. Merete works to unite stakeholders around shared projects and develop ideas for events and activities that spark interest in outdoor experiences. She plays a key role in both the Outdoor Conference and the Friends concept, which includes initiatives like Bike Friend and Hike Friend.
