Det Fynske Dansekompagni
Det Fynske Dansekompagni (The Funen Dance Company) is a self-producing group of dancers and choreographers based at Hips Dance Studios in the centre of Odense. Since 2019, the company has created several critically acclaimed dance works for theatre, gallery, street and dance film.
The company holds WEEKLY OPEN CLASSES for dance-loving young people/adults in Odense!
Classes are held by the members of the company and train the whole body.
Classes are open to everyone and are at an intermediate level. Students of all ages with previous training in circus, dance, martial arts, yoga and sports have enjoyed their training and workshops.

The company is a strong local player on Funen, offering performing arts experiences rooted in their wide range of local collaborations such as Teater Momentum, DYNAMO Workspace & the cultural network LunArs.
As performing artists, Funen Dance Company is known for their curiosity about contemporary pain points, as well as the big topics such as love, loneliness, grief, gender and identity, and can be experienced in a colourful mix of expressions and narratives.
