The Danish Children’s Art Prize on Langeland
The Danish Children’s Art Prize at THE FAT EYE art gallery & artist in residence is a delightful and inspiring experience for both children and adults. Here, creativity, imagination and the joy of creation are celebrated as children and young people are given the opportunity to exhibit their own artworks. The event brings together families, art enthusiasts and curious visitors for a day of child-friendly art – amidst the peaceful surroundings of Langeland.
An experience with room for creativity
The Danish Children’s Art Prize is open to creative children aged 3–13, who can submit their own works for exhibition. All works are judged by a jury, and the day itself features a festive celebration of the young artists. As a guest, you can explore the many works and experience the children’s creative worlds – from colourful drawings to imaginative motifs.
Art you can take home
A special part of the experience is the opportunity to buy children’s art. This offers both children and adults a fun and unique way to bring art into their everyday lives. Perhaps you’ll find a piece that brings a smile to your face – or a little work of art that will find a special place in your home.
A lovely day out for the whole family
As well as the awards ceremony itself, the day offers a relaxed and cosy atmosphere where children can take part in small activities and competitions. The event takes place both indoors and outdoors in the gallery’s garden, where there is plenty of space to explore the art and nature. Here, there is ample opportunity to take your time and enjoy the surroundings.
