Fjord Day at Klintebjerg
Join us for an outdoor festival by Odense Fjord on the 2nd Sunday in September every year! Fjord Day stands for outdoor life, the fjord and lots of activities.
Fjord and Nature Day is celebrated every year in Klintebjerg, the historic harbour of North Funen on Odense Fjord.
On 13 September 2026, Fjord Day returns with plenty of exciting activities!
Great experiences for everyone
Klintebjerg offers something for the whole family and for anyone interested in nature, culture, and outdoor life.
Take a spin on the scouts’ carousel. Peek into the fjord via the on-site aquariums, look through a microscope, or pull on waders and step into the water with large water viewers. In the large health tent you can have your lung function, grip strength, and blood sugar checked. Several exhibitions are open, and children can fish for crabs, mill their own flour, get face painting, or build a birdhouse. The event takes place around Klintebjerg Efterskole, where the students showcase their skills.
Many stalls offer small tastings, and there are multiple places to buy food and drinks—for hearty appetites and sweet tooths alike. Feeling like a short boat trip? Hop on the small boat Lunden to the unique island of Vigelsø for guided walks, birdwatching, and stories from Fjord Day’s own nature guide.
Fjord Day at Egensedybet
You can also visit the Egensedybet Sailing Club at Otterup Marina, where children, young people, and adults can try different ways of sailing by the harbour.
