Galsklint - Havørred Hotspot nr. 107

Galsklint is known for deep water and strong currents – perfect for sea trout and coastal cod. Fish safely from the top “step” and enjoy exciting summer and evening fishing.

Deep water and always strong current – that’s Galsklint. The depth drops in two or three “steps,” so you can easily and safely wade out onto the top step. From there, you can cover the edge to deeper water with a fly or lure. The bottom is even and comfortable to walk on.
Sea trout often hold right at the transition between the shallow coastal water and the very deep Little Belt, which takes over just 10–15 meters beyond your wading position. Long casts are therefore unnecessary – unless you want to try for a coastal cod, which is highly likely here.
Cod stay deep during the day, a good spinning cast away, but in the evening they move into the same spots as the sea trout.
Best wind direction: E – S.
