A hunting experience on Langeland with Jægerinden
On Langeland, you can experience hunting presented in a child-friendly way, as Jægerinden invites you into a world of nature, game and food. Here, it’s all about the whole journey – from the preparations for the hunt to the finished meal. The presentation is engaging and accessible, so both children and adults can join in.
From roebuck to tasting
The event centres on the roebuck, giving you the chance to experience the butchering process up close. Along the way, you’ll learn about the animal, the hunt and respect for nature’s resources. Once the work is done, you can taste the meat and gain an understanding of how game can be used in the kitchen.
Learning at eye level
The huntress is known for her down-to-earth communication style and her ability to make hunting and outdoor life understandable and exciting. There is room for questions, curiosity and dialogue – and the experience provides both new knowledge and food for thought.
Practical information
The event takes place outdoors in the square and is open to anyone interested. The area is generally accessible, including for those with walking difficulties and wheelchair users. It is possible to reach the area by public transport, and it is easy to combine the visit with other experiences on Langeland.
Geopark Days in the South Funen Archipelago Geopark
The event is part of Geopark Days, where you can experience outdoor activities, local food and new knowledge about the local nature, culture and geological history in the UNESCO Global Geopark South Funen Archipelago.
