Take a seat at the long table

To mark Geopark Days 2026, Charlottes Køkken, Det Søde Hjørne, the Langeland Food Market Association and Dybendal are inviting you to a communal long-table lunch in the square in Rudkøbing.

Here, a meal featuring local produce and delicious flavours will be served in cosy surroundings. The lunch highlights how the Geopark’s landscape can be experienced not only with the eyes and feet, but also through taste.

The tables will be decorated with flowers from Adriannas Blomster, helping to create a sensory and local atmosphere around the meal.

The menu is composed of ingredients from across the island and prepared by Charlottes Køkken with support from producers from the Langeland Food Market Association. The lunch concludes with cake and a cup of coffee.

Drinks are not included in the price but can be purchased from Dybendal during the event.

Geopark Days in the South Funen Archipelago Geopark

The event is part of Geopark Days during the Ascension Day holiday, when we celebrate the South Funen Archipelago UNESCO Global Geopark every year with a large, community-wide festival. Here you can take part in outdoor activities, sample local food and learn more about the area’s nature, culture and geology.
