Langelandsfortet
Langelandsfortet is open every day from 10:00 to 17:00
Langelandsfortet is located on the southernmost tip of Langeland, where it was built in the early 1950s.
During the Cold War (1953-1989), Langelandsfortet was responsible for surveillance and military command in the Baltic Sea area. The fort was decommissioned in 1993 and is now a branch of Langelands Museum, housing a number of permanent exhibitions and changing special exhibitions.
