An exciting sea trout spot with a deep trough and varied fishing. Spring and autumn offer everything from small “greenlanders” to big, elusive autumn trout.
At this spot, sea trout are targeted by wading on the first sandbar and casting over a wonderfully dark and wide trough.
In spring, there are many fish here on certain days – mainly smaller, bright “greenlanders” in schools. But the autumn fishing, which begins in late August, is at least as exciting.
Every autumn, big sea trout are seen and caught in the deep trough. Autumn trout can be fickle, though – they often show themselves on the surface but are hard to tempt. Use your imagination and vary your approach if the fish appear without biting.
Especially in autumn, remember that the smallest lures often attract the biggest fish.
Best wind direction: W – NW.
