Storytelling in the light of the church

A story emerges

Ellen Mortensen is known for bringing history to life through storytelling. Together with pupils from Strynø School and Nordskolen, she has created a special story about Strynø and Langeland, inspired by old myths, legends and historical events from the islands.

Myths, legends and children's voices

The story was first performed at the literature festival Litteratur for store & små (Literature for young and old) on Strynø, where it thrilled the audience. Now you can experience it in Strynø Church, when Strynø Literary Association invites you to an evening with Ellen Mortensen and her lively storytelling.

Light in the Darkness
