The Culinary Food Market takes place every year on the last weekend of June, when Svendborg hosts Kulinarisk Sydfyn on Frederiksøen. The market brings together producers focused on slow food, organic quality and local ingredients, filling the island with stalls and activities.
Small-scale producers from across Denmark take part, many from South Funen and the surrounding islands. Quality, craftsmanship and local character define the range, including honey, apple juice, chocolate, ice cream, meat, sausages, oils, spices and beer.
Visitors can meet the producers, sample selected products and learn about their origin and production. The Culinary Food Market combines food experiences with views of the harbour, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in both flavours and place.
