Christmas begins on Langeland

On Friday, 28 November, the Rudkøbing Trade Association invites you to Jule By Night – an atmospheric evening filled with Christmas lights, music and traditions. Rudkøbing becomes Jullekøbing, and the whole town buzzes with Christmas cheer and community spirit.

Programme for the evening

4:00–9:00 p.m.: Langeland Museum is open in the evening – stop by and explore history.

5:45 p.m.: The small Christmas trees are lit at Langeland Museum on Jens Winthers Vej.

6:00 p.m.: Santa Claus parade through the town to Torvet with horse-drawn carriages, elf girls and lovely Christmas music.

6:30 p.m.: This year's Christmas speech at Torvet. Together with Santa Claus, the big Christmas tree is lit.

9:00 p.m.: The town's shops close after an evening of extra cosiness and Christmas shopping.
