Tårnspil på Bagenkop Havn

Experience mini concerts every Sunday in July and on 3 August, when Musikskolen Langeland plays the sun down from the tower at Bagenkop Harbour.

Every Sunday in July and again on 3 August 2025, you can experience a very special tradition at Bagenkop Harbour: Langeland Music School plays the sun down from the tower at 9–9.15 p.m.

Sound over water and boats

The unique location of the musicians in the tower creates a special sound that spreads across the harbour and out over the water. Boats sailing in receive an unforgettable musical welcome.

Experienced musicians and beautiful melodies

Behind the music are Else Foged (flugelhorn), Grethe Therkelsen (alto saxophone) and Sabine Majus

(soprano saxophone). They play both well-known Danish melodies – including some by Carl Nielsen – and lesser-known but atmospheric works.

Free experience in the summer country

It is free to experience. The music is played in almost all weather conditions and helps to make summer evenings in Bagenkop truly special.
