
Vejlby Fed beach
Child-Friendly Beach Near Vejlby Fed Strand Camping
The beach is approximately 1.7 km long and consists mainly of sand, with only a few small stones and occasional areas with many seashells.
At the very northern end, there are several larger stones. Behind the beach itself, there is a stretch of coastal meadow along most of the area, featuring mixed low vegetation.
A shorter section of the beach (around the campsite) is a Blue Flag Beach. A lifeguard post is located below the campsite – right next to the Blue Flag information board.
Sea Bottom and Depth Conditions
Båring Vig is generally shallow, and at Vejlby Fed you can walk far out with water only reaching your ankles. The seabed is mostly sandy. A bathing jetty has been installed by the campsite.
