Bregninge Kirkebakke is located in northern Tåsinge and rises 74 metres above sea level. From the tower of Bregninge Kirke (church), you can enjoy wide views across Tåsinge, Svendborg and The South Fyn Archipelago. The distinctive dome-shaped hill was probably formed by several advances of the ice. Beneath the surface are meltwater deposits, glacial clay and much older geological layers.

Several nearby sites reveal more of the landscape and its history. Løkkekærs Banke, also known as Casanovabakkerne, lies about 200 metres northwest of the church. On the northern side is Ingers Høj, a large Early Bronze Age burial mound that also serves as a viewpoint.

Opposite Bregninge Kirke is Tåsinge Museum, presenting stories from the island's history, including Elvira Madigan and Sixten Sparre. Bregninge Kirkebakke is part of Geopark The South Fyn Archipelago and can be reached via Route 9 from Svendborg. Parking is available by the church.
