Café Sommer

Welcome to cosy Café Sommer right by the coast between Strib and Middelfart – and right on Lillebæltstien.

Café Sommer is located at Gl. Strandvej 19, right between the coast and Lillebæltstien, with views of the water and both bridges. Here you can enjoy classic café favourites like burgers, crispy fish and chips and stjerneskud with panko-breaded fish fillets and hand-peeled prawns – in relaxed surroundings close to the water.

But Café Sommer is especially known for one thing: the old-fashioned ice cream cones – the biggest in Middelfart. Thick cream, soft marshmallow and scoops of ice cream stacked high in the cone. A perfect pause on a walk along the coast.

The covered terrace with heat lamps makes it possible to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere even when the weather is a little cool or the sun has gone down.
