EGESKOV
The Living Castle

A full day of experiences for the whole family
A day full of unforgettable experiences awaits visitors of all ages at Egeskov. Explore one of Europe's best-preserved Renaissance castles, discover Denmark's most beautiful garden, visit the many fascinating exhibitions and let your imagination run free on the giant adventure playground. Adventure, play and culture come together for the whole family.

An award-winning garden and a living castle
Egeskov Castle rises majestically from the surrounding moat and is one of Northern Europe's best-preserved Renaissance castles. It is the private home of Count Michael Ahlefeldt and his family, but welcomes visitors from April to October.

The award-winning castle gardens have been named Europe's Best Historic Garden and are also regarded as one of the world's most remarkable gardens. Discover beautiful garden rooms, impressive hedges, ancient trees and spectacular views surrounding the castle.

Museums, exhibitions and outdoor fun
Allow plenty of time for your visit – there's much more to experience than the castle and gardens. Explore the impressive collections at the Classic Car Museum, the Falck Museum and the Camping Outdoor Museum, or discover the many smaller exhibitions throughout the estate.

Children will love Legeskoven, one of Denmark's largest playgrounds. Get lost in the giant maze, challenge yourself on the 16-metre-high TreeTop Walking and enjoy hours of fun with a wide range of exciting play activities.
