LIME E-scooter

Lime offers short-term e-scooter hire in Odense. In the Lime app, you can find available e-scooters, check prices and read about local riding and parking regulations.

How to use Lime e-scooters

1. Download the Lime app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Create an account and add a payment card.
3. Use the map in the app to find an available e-scooter.
4. Scan the QR code on the e-scooter to unlock it and start your ride.
5. Follow the traffic regulations and always wear a cycle helmet.
6. Park the e-scooter where it will not obstruct pavements or entrances or inconvenience others. In Odense, e-scooters must not be left in parks or green spaces. Then end your ride in the app.

The price consists of an unlocking fee and a per-minute charge. Check the Lime app for current prices and terms.

E-scooter regulations

You must be at least 15 years old to ride unaccompanied in traffic. If you are under 15, you must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Wearing a cycle helmet is compulsory, and only one person is allowed on the e-scooter.

The e-scooter must have a maximum motor-powered speed of 20 km/h, and its lights must be switched on at all times. Follow the rules for cyclists and use the cycle lane where one is available. Riding on pavements or footpaths is not permitted.
