Mr. Torp - small, classic café

Breakfast, brunch and a classic Danish lunch

In the morning, the menu includes brunch, a breakfast plate, porridge and freshly baked bread. From lunchtime, smørrebrød takes centre stage alongside tapas and other smaller dishes.

Smørrebrød has a special place at Mr. Torp. The café is run by Michael Torp, who has a background in butchery, and his experience with good craftsmanship and quality ingredients is reflected in the food. The menu features both classic smørrebrød favourites and more contemporary interpretations.

If you are more in the mood for coffee than lunch, there are also cakes, waffles, warm scones and a wide selection of coffee and other hot and cold drinks.

A small café in Vintapperstræde

Mr. Torp is one of Odense’s smaller cafés, and its size is part of what gives the place its distinctive character. With just a few steps between the kitchen, café and guests, the atmosphere feels informal and personal.

Vintapperstræde itself also makes a charming setting for a visit. The small street connects the pedestrian area around Kongensgade with the rest of the city centre and is lined with cafés, restaurants and independent shops.

On Fridays, Mr. Torp also stays open in the evening, when tapas and snacks are served.
