ODEON Odense
ODEON is one of Odense’s leading venues for culture, conferences and live events. Located in the heart of the city, it hosts everything from concerts, theatre performances and comedy shows to talks, musicals and conferences. Just a short walk from the railway station and many of Odense’s main attractions, ODEON welcomes visitors throughout the year.
Experiences all year round
As one of Odense’s largest cultural venues, ODEON presents a diverse programme of concerts, theatre performances, comedy shows, talks, ballet and musicals. Its different stages host both large-scale productions and smaller events, offering something for audiences of all ages.
The Main Hall hosts many of the biggest touring productions and concerts visiting Odense, while Byens Scene provides a setting for community singing, choir activities and other cultural events. The building is also home to the Odense department of the Danish National Academy of Music, and ODEON’s theatre stage is used for guest productions, school performances and longer-running theatrical productions.
Dine before the show
You do not have to leave the building if you would like something to eat before your event. On the ground floor, you will find Café ODEON Social, where you can enjoy a coffee, a light meal or meet up with friends and family before the performance.
On the first floor, Restaurant Schiøtz is a popular choice for guests who wish to combine their visit with dinner. Inspired by Danish and French culinary traditions, the restaurant focuses on seasonal ingredients and carefully prepared dishes. On selected evenings, special pre-show menus are available, allowing you to combine great food with an evening of culture.
If you are looking for additional dining options or accommodation, both Restaurant Hans Christian and Comwell H.C. Andersen Odense are located right next to ODEON.
