Red Bull Ferris Wheel at Odense Harbour

On July 7, you can experience one of the most spectacular events of the summer, as Odense Harbour hosts its official visiting day. Here, you will have a rare opportunity to watch OCR World Champion Ida Mathilde Steensgaard train live on the iconic Ferris wheel from the Tinderbox festival – specially rebuilt and installed at Tysklandskaj for this unique project. 

The Ferris wheel has been transformed into a demanding high-altitude obstacle course, where Ida Mathilde must navigate complex physical elements while the wheel continuously rotates – an extreme athletic challenge that combines strength, balance, and endurance. 

The event is part of a larger international Red Bull project, but the actual media production is closed to the public. Instead, on the visiting day, you will gain exclusive insight into the atmosphere surrounding the project and the stories that tie it all together:

• How Ultra rebuilt the Ferris wheel and developed the technical solutions
• The importance of international collaborations for the city, according to Odense Håndbold

As the highlight of the day, you can watch Ida Mathilde train live on the Ferris wheel – a spectacular experience that you can only find in Odense. 

Throughout the afternoon, you can enjoy food trucks, tastings, a DJ, and a vibrant harbour atmosphere. 

The event is free of charge. There is space for up to 500 visitors.
