Shelter: Langemarken

Langemarken is a small, car-free campsite for hikers, cyclists, kayakers and other nature visitors. It has one shelter with eight sleeping places as well as space for tents. The Archipelago Trail is about 200 metres away, while cyclists will find Langemarken on the Østersøruten between Svendborg and Faaborg.

The campsite has two areas: one in the flower-rich garden and another by the shelter overlooking fields and meadows. Facilities include two fire pits with adjustable grills, drinking water and a composting toilet. The beach is about 200 metres away, with a bathing jetty and opportunities for trout fishing. Kayaks can be left at the beach or carried to the campsite.

The site is managed organically with a focus on biodiversity and small-scale facilities. Wild and cultivated plants, trees and shrubs provide habitats for birds and insects. Langemarken is a partner of Geopark The South Fyn Archipelago. To secure a sleeping place, book by 4 pm on the same day. Tent stays are arranged and paid directly with the owner.
