Geopark Visitor Centre Søbygaard
Explore the Geopark Visitor Centre and learn more about Ærø's unique nature and culture. Admission is free.
At Søbygaard you will find the island's Geopark Visitor Centre, which explains how Ærø and Geopark Det Sydfynske Øhav came to be and highlights important and special places, events and animals on Ærø.
In the visitor centre you can explore the Ærø timeline, watch short films about the geopark, dive into all of Ærø's geospots and other interesting areas. The visitor centre is located next to the entrance to Søbygaard, the café and the shop.
Set aside extra time to enjoy the Søbygaard Experience Centre and Café Søbygaard, their warm panini, Hattensen's liquorice confectionery or the famous rum balls from Nørre Aaby.
