Nordenhuse - Havørred Fyn Hotspot nr. 24
A sandy coastline with sandbars that definitely fishes best at high tide.
Nordenhuse is a relatively small fishing spot, where you’ll rarely spend more than a couple of hours. If you're fishing with others, the area is quickly covered. Still, it’s worth mentioning as a fine little spring location.
Especially from February to early April, the shallow reef coastline at Nordenhuse can be highly productive. The point and the small bay just north of the parking area can, on certain spring days, act as a magnet for one or more large schools of smaller sea trout, known locally as “greenlanders.” Predicting when these schools arrive is difficult, but the period from one hour before high tide to one hour after tends to be the most rewarding.
And don’t overlook the autumn fishing here either – it can be surprisingly good.
