Shelter by Lille Søbygård

Spend the night in the shelter at Lille Søbygård overlooking the lake and moat, surrounded by magnificent nature and near good hiking routes.

The shelter is idyllically located just outside Søby, surrounded by beautiful nature. Here you can fall asleep to the croaking of frogs and wake up to birdsong overlooking the lake and moat.

There is room for four adults and the shelter has doors with fly screens. The site has a fire pit, table/bench set, water and a public toilet 200 metres away. Firewood can be purchased on site.

The Øhavsstien and Herregårdsruten trails pass by and offer great hiking and cycling opportunities. The free bus, 300 metres away, runs hourly to Søby, Ærøskøbing and Marstal, where cafés, restaurants and shopping await.

In the surrounding area you can experience the beautiful landscape of Vitsø, take a walk over Søby Volde to Vester Mølle overlooking the sea or visit Søbygaard, where the whole family can enjoy activities and a cosy café.
