Slipshavn - Havørred Fyn Hotspot nr. 27

Slipshavn offers varied fishing year-round – with deep winter water in Marinehullet and strong summer currents at Lille Knud. Note the restricted military area.

Slipshavn is a great and highly varied fishing location. In winter, the best fishing is found in the deep basin known as “Marinehullet,” which cuts into the north side of the Slipshavn peninsula. Here, you can wade along the deep, dark edge almost all the way to Nyborg town, with good chances even in the coldest months – unless the basin freezes over.

During the summer season, the outer (southern) side of Slipshavn fishes best, especially at “Lille Knud,” the point visible a few hundred meters to the left of the parking area. A strong current runs here, and a visit on a summer evening or night is rarely disappointing.

Please note that the small tip of the Slipshavn peninsula, which partially encloses Marinehullet, is a military area and access is prohibited.
