Theatre Momentum
Teater Momentum is a vibrant and innovative theatre right in the heart of Odense. Over the years, it has become a key player on the Danish theatre scene, celebrated for its bold and experimental approach.
Founded in 2005 by a group of passionate artists, the theatre was built on a shared vision: to create unique and groundbreaking experiences. That vision still thrives today through the Momentum Model.
The model is based on four core values:
meaning, movement, wonder, and community. These principles form the foundation for both strong artistic content and a sustainable working environment.
One of Teater Momentum’s most distinctive features is its rotating artistic leadership. Each season, a new creative team takes charge, assembling their own group of actors and artists. Together, they shape the season’s identity and present one production that reflects their artistic vision.
