The Castle Route: Svendborg-Faaborg

Climbing Park, museum on nature and a church ruin are three good reasons to take the stage between Svendborg and Faaborg.

The stage is 42 km and has some good climbs at Faaborg. The stage is mainly paved road.
Experiences on the route
In Diernæs near Faaborg you will also find the beautiful Holstenshuus Manor House, where you can relax in the park. The estate originated from the now disappeared village of Finnstrup, of which only a few houses and the only church ruin of Fyn remain.
You will also find Denmark's oldest watermill on the trip between Svendborg and Faaborg, Kaleko Watermill. The watermill is located on the outskirts of Faaborg. If you need an overnight-stay in Faaborg, we can recommend Hotel Faaborg.
