Det Lille Kunstværksted
Art objects, jewelry and paintings

The Little Art Workshop
Here you can see jewellery, sculptures, paintings and arts and crafts, all unique pieces by Romie Romero and Manfred Werner, who also design ventriloquist and theatre puppets.
The gallery’s two atmospheric and cosy rooms are often visited by groups, and you can enjoy a cup of coffee whilst taking in both the art and a wonderful view of Lindelse Nor.
The gallery is also used for live concerts and talks (we have space and seating for up to 30 people).
The gallery is usually open every day all year round from 12 noon to 6 pm. However, if you’re travelling from far away, it’s a very good idea to ring in advance to make sure we’re in and have plenty of time for you.
Romie and Manfred are happy to talk about their work and where they draw their inspiration from. They come from Chile and Germany respectively and have travelled extensively to other countries such as Greenland, Canada, England, Greece, Turkey, etc. This has helped shape their way of working. They speak fluent Spanish, Danish, English and German.
At live concerts, Romie plays the guitar and sings well-known songs from Spanish- and English-speaking countries.
Romie Romero and Manfred Werner
Manfred Werner’s favourite materials are often sourced from nature and the beach in the form of driftwood, stones, sea glass, etc. He also works with reindeer antlers, horns, mammoth tusks, soapstone, ebony, amber, brass, glass, etc., often combining several of these materials in a single piece.
Romie Romero paints, creates mosaics and ceramics, and makes jewellery, bags and much more. She often reuses materials in her works and may, for example, combine silver, copper, amber and stone with pottery shards, bicycle reflectors, old coloured pencils or other found objects.
