Guided Walk of the Glavendrup Grove
Come and hear the fascinating stories about Glavendruplunden and its residents – completely free of charge! Every Monday at 7 pm from 6 to 27 July 2026 inclusive.

The guide speaks Danish.
Join an exciting guided tour through the history of North Funen at Glavendruplunden. The Vikings erected a large ship burial site at Glavendruplunden, culminating in the Glavendrup Stone, which bears Denmark’s longest runic inscription.
What’s more, the grove was even used as a burial ground many years before the Viking Age – the stones have been erected on top of two Bronze Age burial mounds.
Your guide, Carl Martin Christensen, will recount this impressive history and show you around the grove, where you’ll also see memorial stones marking major events in Denmark’s history.
