The walk to the beach at Påø takes you through the beautifully preserved manor landscape of Skovsgaard Estate. Fishing here benefits from the freshwater flow of two streams that run through a sluice on the northern part of the stretch. At times, a considerable amount of freshwater enters the sea, attracting sea trout during the winter months.

To the south, where the cliff is highest, lies an exciting reef with large rocks and good water depth. Be sure to also try the stretch between the sluice and the reef, as well as the area about 100 meters south of the reef and the same distance north of the sluice.

In summer, there’s also a chance to catch mullet – keep an eye out for them in the rocky areas.
