Readathon – reading marathon at Langeland Library after closing time
Come along to the Readathon at Langeland Library in Rudkøbing, where young bookworms can read, have a cosy time, share book recommendations and meet others who share their love of reading
Read and have fun after closing time
On Friday 2 October, from 4 pm to 8 pm, we’re inviting all 10–14-year-olds to the Readathon at the library.
The Readathon is a reading marathon where, as well as reading loads, we’ll be having fun with book recommendations, pizza, snacks and a quiz.
Please bring: cushions, blankets, a sleeping bag, a torch or anything else you need to create a cosy reading nook. And if you’re currently reading a good book, you should of course bring that along too.
The library will provide everything else.
At a Readathon, you’ll get the chance to meet other children who also love reading!
It costs 35 kr. to take part, and registration is required.
There’s space for 12 children.
Things to do nearby
Rudkøbing offers plenty of opportunities for a lovely day out before or after the Readathon. Take a stroll through the cobbled streets, visit one of the local eateries, or pop into the exhibitions at Langeland Museum. You’re also close to the Øhavsstien trail and the harbour area, which offer the chance to enjoy nature and some fresh air.
